Our primary objective at this time is to identify Orthodox deaf Christians and connect them to each other via the OCDA. If you are a hearing Orthodox Christian who is competent in ASL, or if you are interested in learning more about it and working with the deaf community, we ask that you consider joining the OCDA and help us!
The OCDA is approximately five years old and currently has over 600 members made up of Deaf, hard of hearing, hearing, ASL translators, Metropolitans, Bishops, other clergy, laity, and volunteers from around North America and beyond. Thankfully, through the efforts of many people, the ministry continues to grow and make a positive impact on the Deaf and hard of hearing community.
